About Us

My passion for creating beautiful spaces, great organizational skills, love for making people smile, and clever outlook on budgeting has led me to starting my wedding planning business. I have been in the interior design business as a commercial showroom designer, color specialist, and residential home designer for many years My experience in the interior design business has certainly given me an advantage in wedding planning. I earned my specialized technology-interior design degree at the Art Institute of York (formerly Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts). I am also certified through the QC School of Event Planning as an International Wedding Planning Professional. This education and over 7 years of event planning experience has given me the knowledge, confidence, and enthusiasm to help each couple plan the wedding they have been dreaming of. My goal is to create amazing wedding memories for my clients, their families, and their guests to reminisce on for many years to come!

I started with Designing Memories 7 years ago helping Stephanie, the owner, at bridal shows and with small parts of weddings. Through the years I have become more involved and my enthusiasm for planning has grown. Now I hold a position as a wedding planner. Before I started planning weddings I earned my Child Development Associate and certification in Child Day Care Management. The patience, organization, and listening skills I have learned through childcare and the many years of experience with Designing Memories have prepared me for my wedding planning career. Plus, I am excellent at wrangling unruly flower girls (and groomsmen)! I love coordinating all the details of every couple's wedding to give them the special day they deserve. Nothing is better than seeing a relaxed and radiant bride walk down the aisle to her awaiting groom.
